Seam Work

Objectspace, in association with Manukau Institute of Technology, presents this two day workshop with renowned silversmith Vito Bila (Aus) exploring concepts of the seam: overlapping, merging, intersecting, touching, nudging, pushing, melding, encroaching, engulfing, infiltrating. 

Presenter Vito is in New Zealand as part of the international silversmith show, Fixing the Unbroken: New making on the vessel, on at Objectspace January 30 to February 27. Workshop participants should bring several objects (metal and non-metal, hand-held size) to work with during the workshop.

Places are strictly limited, so please be in touch to reserve your place, with payment required at the end of January.
