STRANDS Weaving Action Day

Saturday 22 August, 11am - 4pm

Weavers will be in the gallery throughout the day, demonstrating an array of on-loom and off-loom weaving. 

11am: Molima Pihigia - Nuiean basket weaving

12noon: Soe Meh Nga - Back-strap loom weaving 

1pm: Christopher Duncan - Jack loom weaving

2pm: Alison Francis - Table loom weaving which you can try yourself, demonstrations of marudai loom weaving and inkle loom weaving.
