Opening Night

Over the course of the last three months, six selected aspiring curators from around New Zealand have worked with Ben Lignel to develop installations for Opening Night, a curatorial development initiative run in conjunction with Studio One Toi Tu. 

By engaging with both the curatorial and the design aspect of exhibition-making, participants have worked on writing a curatorial brief and then implemented it through the selection of objects. The project culminates in the one-night only exhibition Opening Night, held simultaneously on the 4th of February at Objectspace and over the road at Studio One Toi Tu.
