Objectspace Talkfest 2013

The 2013 Keynote speaker is Mike Holmes, the director of the Velvet da Vinci Gallery in San Francisco. Mike will be the guest of Objectspace and Creative New Zealand, and will be meeting makers in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and Dunedin. He will also be giving a talk on jewellery for California Design at Auckland Art Gallery.

Parking at Talkfest

The talks will be held in two lecture theatres at Unitec. There is plenty of free parking after 6pm and on the Saturday. Unitec is a large campus – allow yourself plenty of time to find the lecture theatre.

Access to Unitec is along Carrington Rd. Use Gate 1 to attend evening lectures in Building 001. Drive right around the back of the building to access the main entrance. The lecture theatre is upstairs in room 2076. On Saturday 5 October, use Gate 4 by the lights. The lecture theatre is in the basement of Building 180 and is room B001

The Pecha Kucha evening on Thursday 3 October will be in the Galatos Basement on Galatos St parallel to Karangahape Rd off East St.
